Where is Smith Creek's PikeTooth™ knife made?

Smith Creek's PikeTooth™ knife is 100% Made in Japan, in cooperation with one of Japan's oldest knife making families.

How should I clean my knife?

After use, rinse your PikeTooth™ knife with freshwater and dry with a clean cloth. If there is dirt or grit inside the handle, flush it out with running water and if necessary you can use a soft toothbrush to clean the thumb release button.

What about maintaining the edge?

Your PikeTooth™ kit includes a dual grit (400/1000 grit) water stone. Water stones need to be soaked in clean water until they no longer release air bubbles before use. Follow the instruction instructions included with your knife kit or write us at support@smithcreek.co if you have questions.

How long is the warranty?

Smith Creek's PikeTooth™ is backed by a 3 Year warranty for parts and workmanship. If during this period your knife is found to be defective, please contact us at support@smithcreek.co (please have your original purchase receipt ready if possible). The warranty does not cover cosmetic damage from everyday use, loss of sharpness due to not maintaining the blade, nor damage due to severe impact or abuse. The knife sheath is also covered under this warranty. However, because the dual-grit water stone is a wear part, it is not covered under warranty. Replacement parts available from Smith Creek.
